Property Description

Balranald Cottage / 2 bedrooms / 2 bathrooms / sleeps 4

Balranald Cottage sleeps 4 guests with a double bedroom, en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom, with adjoining family bathroom.

The open-plan living room has windows looking out towards Balranald House, with a raised dining area with table and chairs for six, a spacious sitting area with a large sofa and a multi fuel fire.

Beyond the living room is a large south-facing sun room, with large windows providing a wonderful panorama of white sands, a huge marsh and wetland SSSI, traditional small-scale machair farming and the Balranald nature reserve.

We look for a minimum of a week stay commencing Saturday. However, if you do require a shorter stay then please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate.

There is a multi-fuel burning stove in the living room.  Coal & wood can be purchased from Bayhead shop & Sollas Co-op.

Please note that there is a ‘Pay as you Go’ power meter installed at the cottage. There will be £80/wk on the meter on arrival which under normal usage is plenty.
